OXFORD

Richard Burton, 34, of Phipps Road, Oxford, convicted of assault by beating in Phipps Road, Oxford, on March 5. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £100 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge and £200 costs.

Clare Francis, 43, of Ford Lane, East Hendred, admitted drink-driving in Newbury Road, East Hendred. Had 71 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £400, a £40 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 15 months.

Matthew James, 31, of Normandy Crescent, Horspath, Oxford, admitted stealing an iPhone 4 at Cowley police station, Oxford Road, Cowley, on September 27. Community order made and told to do 120 hours of unpaid community work in the next year. Also told to pay £250 compensation.

Matthew Sharman, 34, of Youens Drive, Thame, admitted drunk and disorderly behaviour in Youens Drive, Thame on September 21. Fined £60, a £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Jack Arnold, 20, of Buckingham Road, Bicester, admitted possession of cannabis in Oxford Road, Horspath, Oxford, on September 27. Fined £165, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Luke Grant, 27, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing food worth £28.50 from Sainsbury’s in Suffolk House, Oxford, on September 29. Community order made with drug rehabilitation and supervision requirements. Told to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Royan Mills, 45, of Sandy Lane, Oxford, admitted failing to stop after an accident and driving without due care and attention in Blackbird Leys Road, Oxford, on June 2. Fined a total of £475, a £36 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with seven penalty points.

Nigel Fletcher, 45, of Morrell Crescent, Littlemore, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words of behaviour, or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Morrell Crescent, Littlemore, Oxford, on September 30. Fined £40 and a £20 victim surcharge.

Matthew Webb, 32, of Hamble Road, Didcot, admitted possession of Class A drug diamorphine in Didcot on August 25. Fined £150,a £20 victim surcharge and £30 costs.

BANBURY

Jack Brain, 23, of Ardley Road, Middleton Stoney, near Bicester, failed to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Banbury Magistrates’ Court on March 25 by failing to complete unpaid work on August 17. Fined £100 and community order to continue.

James Hampton, 30, of Farmfield Road, Banbury, admitted drink driving, driving without insurance and driving while disqualified on the M40 near Bicester on August 29. Had 56 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 12-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months with a 12-month supervision requirement and 200 hours of unpaid work. Given a three-year driving ban. Fined £110 and told to pay an £80 victim surcharge and £30 costs.

Daniel Holliday, 22, of Combe, near Witney, admitted aggravated vehicle taking in Randolph Avenue, Woodstock, on September 28. Also admitted drink driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance on the A44 near Woodstock on the same date. Had 85 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Community order made with 80-hour unpaid work requirement. Given a 22-month driving ban and told to pay a £300 fine, £105 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Anna Antell, of Foxwood, Aston, near Bampton, convicted of failing to offer up her licence when required to do so on March 15. Fined £400 and told to pay excise back duty of £55, £40 victim surcharge and £90 costs.

James Alderton, 36, of Newton Morrell, Bicester, admitted drink driving in Ashby Road, Bicester, on June 2. Had 93mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mg. Also admitted possessing heroin, a Class A drug, in Bicester on the same date. Admitted drink driving in Weeping Cross, Bodicote, near Banbury, on October 10. Had 40 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 36-month driving ban and fined £600. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Frederique Lelievre, 39, of no fixed address, admitted causing criminal damage to a wooden lounge door in Glenmore Road, Carterton, on October 1. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Ian Murray, 39, of Boxhedge Road West, Banbury, admitted possessing cocaine, a class A drug, at Banbury Police Station, Warwick Road, Banbury, on September 5. Also admitted committing a further offence during the period of a suspended sentence order made by Banbury Magistrates’ Court on August 9 for assaulting a police officer. Fined £110 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £20 costs. Suspended sentence not imposed.

Martin Radbourne, 31, of West Court, West Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a pedal cycle worth £750 in Oxford on September 30. Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months with a drug rehabilitation requirement and supervision requirement. Told to pay an £80 victim surcharge. Two further offences taken into consideration.

Daniel Rumley, 28, of Larkhill Road, Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Park End Street, Oxford, on September 27. Also admitted failing to surrender to Oxford Magistrates’ Court on October 14. Fined £75 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £20 costs.

Ricky Byles, 24, of Church Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with a direction given by a police officer in Park End Street, Oxford city centre, on September 15 by failing to leave the area and not return within 24 hours. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Carl Crathern, 21, of North Street, Bicester, admitted assault by beating, driving without a licence and driving without insurance in Willow Drive, Bicester, on January 27. Also admitted causing £800 worth of criminal damage on January 26 in Willow Drive, Bicester. Community order made with supervision requirement. Fined £200 and told to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
