A teenager accused of murdering a man in Henley is the son of a prominent record producer.
Kes Ingoldsby, 18, of Wargrave Road, Henley, and James Diggins, 19, of Caversham Park Village, Reading, have been charged with murdering Stephen Langford at the weekend.
The pair appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court yesterday as the family of Mr Langford paid tribute to him.
Ingoldsby's father is record producer Denis Ingoldsby, who reportedly discovered Louise Nurding (now Redknapp) and has worked with Girls Aloud, Blazin' Squad, Go West, Dina Carroll, Michelle Gayle, MN8, and Tatu.
Mr Langford, 43, left, died on Saturday, yards from the town's police station.
His parents, Billy and Joan Langford, said: "We, Stephen's parents and family, are absolutely devastated that this has happened to our son, who was a loving son and brother and devoted father, so cruelly taken from us in such a savage way."
Caroline McDowell, Mr Langford's former partner and mother of his daughter, Jenny, six, said: "Stephen will be tremendously missed by my daughter and me. He was a very loving father."
