BARBARIANS will be the topic under discussion at the first of three lectures on The Gore of War, by master armourer Magnus Sigurdsson.
The Ashmolean Museum, in Beaumont Street, hosts the first lecture tomorrow.
The second lecture, Shedding Light on the Dark Ages, is on January 21, and Bloody Roses will be held on February 18.
