A NEW contractor will see South Oxfordshire's public lavatories given a new sparkle.
All of them will be cleaned at least once - and sometimes twice - a day, seven days a week.
David Dodds, the district council cabinet member for public amenities, said: "We wanted to raise the standards of our cleaning service.
"I'm positive the new contractors will do a good job. They have been able to start straight away, so we can have a reliable service over the Christmas period."
The contract, which runs until January 2008, has gone to Cannon Horticulture.
