THE volunteers at the League of Friends Churchill Hospital work to contribute that little extra that can make all the difference to patients comfort during their stay in hospital and to provide a smiling face for visitors and staff at the same time.

The income raised by the sale of goods in the tea bar and shop helps to provide much-needed hospital equipment which is expensive and new treatments which are coming on stream all the time.

If you are able to make a hot drink and fill a buttered roll, then please join us – we urgently need more volunteers to maintain this valuable service.

We would value help from anyone of any age who may be able to spare a few hours a week. It’s a great way to discover a new circle of friends, and at the same time enjoy a lot of job satisfaction.

Everyone is very welcome to come and have a chat and look around if you first telephone 01865 771945 after 5pm.

All travel expenses will be reimbursed by the League.
