FUNDRAISERS will get together this morning to enjoy a cup of coffee and raise cash for cancer nurses.
Charity Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event sees communities across the county and the country raise money over a cuppa.
A coffee morning was held at Littlemore Community Centre on Wednesday. The event, which raised cash for the cause, was organised by Oxford City Council, Oxford Clinical Commissioning Group and Families of Littlemore Action Group.
Cancer sufferer Paul Marlow, from Barton, has organised a fundraiser in Meadowbrook off Stowford Road from 10.30am to 1pm today. The 55-year-old said: “All money raised goes to the care nurses, who do a fantastic job.”
