SEA otters, oversized matches and a tennis court are part of a new exhibition at Modern Art Oxford.

German artist Friedrich Kunath, pictured, has brought his imaginative creations to Oxford for his first solo UK exhibition.

The exhibition’s title, Raymond Moody’s Blues, comes from Raymond Moody, an American psychologist and medical doctor who in 1975 coined the term “near-death experience.”

It is also inspired by the British 1960s rock band, The Moody Blues.

Mr Kunath said: “Music is an important element of the work I do, as I can relate my specific experiences to a film or piece of music just as easily as the viewer can relate to precisely the same film or piece of music with their own emotional knowledge.”

The exhibition runs until Sunday, November 17 at Modern Art Oxford in Pembroke Street.
