IT MAY be September, but that didn’t stopped Tim Hall from enjoying an ice cream in the park.
The weather in Oxford was unseasonably warm yesterday and it looks like this is going to continue – which has brought a smile to the face of Mr Hall, bar manager at the Victoria pub in Kingston Road.
Met Office forecaster Mark Sidaway said: “Temperatures at Benson got up to about 21C, which is very pleasant for late September.
“The seasonal average should be in the mid to high teens. It should be reasonably nice today, with temperatures in the low 20Cs.”
But he added: “It looks as though we will see something of a change into the later half of this week, with some rain on Saturday.”
