THERE was a blast from the past at The White House at the weekend as Pac Man and Super Mario dropped by.
The Abingdon Road pub played host to Retromission 2013, a festival of retro games consoles.
Around 20 eager gamers spent the entire weekend competing against each other in a series of play-offs.
Julian Henn, 34, came all the way from London for the event.
He said: “It is always good fun and I have been going for quite a few years now. It is good to meet up with people. The game Rock Band is always good fun in the evenings.”
There was also an auction of gaming devices to raise money for Magic Moments for Autistic Kids.
