WILLY Wonka and the Oompa-Loompas took centre stage at Charlbury Street Fair.
Children from Charlbury Primary School donned costumes for their dance version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
It was choreographed by professional dancer Tina Piotrowsky, who has danced with Take That and teaches the children at the school.
She said: “It was a chance for the whole village, whether they have got children or not, to come and see the kids doing something.”
The event was opened by Layla Claridge, Charlbury’s own Miss Oxfordshire Inspiration, and there was a host of stalls and activities, including racing cars, and a performance by Charlbury Morris Dancers.
Brazilian drummers entertained and the crowds were treated to tunes from a group called The Stonesfield Village Idiots.
