A 12-YEAR-OLD girl was indecently assaulted in Woodstock Road, Oxford.
The girl was walking along the road at about 4pm on Thursday and noticed that a man was following her. She stopped to tie her shoe lace to see if he would go past her. The man approached her, and indecently assaulted her. The girl ran off to raise the alarm.
Police said the man was skinny, aged 20 to 30, white, with very pale skin. He had shoulder-length black hair, is not very tall and wore round glasses and dark clothing.
Det Insp Simon Morton, of Oxford CID, said: "This man is quite distinctive and I appeal to anyone who may have seen him, knows him or saw the incident occur, to contact me straight away."
