PASSENGERS planning to travel by train this Christmas are advised to buy tickets as soon as possible.
Thousands of seats have already been reserved and trains to the busiest destinations at the busiest times are filling up quickly, according to First Great Western.
Train services will not run on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and between Christmas and New Year First Great Western will run a Saturday service.
The company, which runs rail services through Oxfordshire expects travel to be concentrated on December 22, 23 and 27.
