DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a 43-year-old man in Henley were today still questioning two youths on suspicion of his murder.

The youths were held last night, following the release of two other youths earlier today without charge.

The two youths arrested last night are both from Henley, and are aged 17 and 18.

Stephen Langford, of St Anne's Court, Henley, was attacked in Greys Road and knocked to the ground by a group of four or five youths, who may have been carrying pizza boxes from a nearby takeaway, at about 1.45am yesterday.

Police today said a post-mortem examination showed he died of a head injury.

He was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, but died shortly afterwards.

Officers closed a section of Greys Road, including the car park, while a detailed investigation of the scene was carried out.

A 17-year-old was arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of his murder and last night another 17-year-old male was arrested and taken for questioning to Maidenhead police station.

Detectives have appealed to anyone who may be able to help the inquiry to contact Det Chief Insp Pete Dowling via the Police Enquiry Centre on 08458 505505 or, if you do not want to speak to police and do not want to leave your name, you can contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555111.
