A primary school nativity play plunged into darkness during stormy weather was saved just minutes before the curtain rose - by members of the RAF.
When the power cut out at Christopher Rawlins Primary School in Adderbury 20 minutes before the play's first performance on Thursday, teachers decided the show must go on.
With no lights, and another performance scheduled for the evening, teacher Annaleigh Rowlands called her husband, a technician at RAF Brize Norton.
He found a spare air force generator, with a low loader to transport it, and made the 30-mile journey across the county to the school.
