Thieves stole four tricycles for disabled children from a special school in Abingdon and daubed buildings with abusive graffiti.
Police were today appealing for information after the thieves broke into Kingfisher School in Radley Road, overnight on Monday and took four tricycles specially adapted for disabled children from a storage building.
One tricycle was black, two were red, and was one blue. They all have special gearing to regulate the speed.
The school was also subject to an attempted break-in overnight on Wednesday, when offenders tried to force the metal gates open but were unsuccessful. It is believed the school alarm was activated at about midnight.
Thames Valley Police spokesman Toby Shergold said: "The school buildings were targeted with graffiti that was bigoted and insulting, and could have easily upset the pupils."
