OXFORD MAGISTRATES
Wayne Marting, 54, of Rock Road, Carterton, admitted drink driving on Barns Road, Oxford on August 4. Had 61 micrograms of alcohol in 100 ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £110, told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20, costs of £85, and given a 17-month driving ban, to be reduced by 17 weeks if the defendant completes a driver awareness coursee.
Shane Turner, 25, of Sadlers Court, Abingdon admitted drink-driving on Pegasus Road, Oxford, on August 3. Had 96 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a community order with 60 hours’ unpaid work in the next 12 months, given a two-year driving ban, to be reduced if the defendant completes a driver awareness course, and ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £60.
Paul Meads, 45, of Abbott Road, Didcot, admitted assaulting two police officers, PC Richardson and PC Moxey, in their execution of their duty in Bowness Avenue Didcot on August 4. Also admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause distress on the same occasion. Fined £150 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20, costs of £50.
Declan Priest, 22, and Jordan Priest, 20, of Sawpit Road, Oxford, admitted fishing without a licence at Milton Pools in Milton Common, near Thames, on April 21. They were each fined £27, and each told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20 and costs of £100.
