WORK inspired by a collection of aerial photographs of East Oxford in the 1920s and 1930s will be the subject of a new exhibition.
East Oxford From Above has been curated by members of the community and the display has been created by community groups in a year-long partnership project between the Museum of Oxford and English Heritage.
The show features painting, sculpture, documentary film, creative writing, local history research and aerial photography.
Antonia Harland-Lang of the city council said: “East Oxford From Above will feature work by local young people, schools, adults with learning disabilities and older people’s groups. The work the museum has done with these groups has been supported by community volunteers recruited and trained especially for the project.”
