PROTON has refreshed and updated its Malaysian-built four-door Impian saloon this winter with new styling both inside and out.
Priced from £10,595, the Impian has a re-designed front grille and back end and a new rear light cluster and new alloy wheels.
Interior updates include a new dashboard fascia with wood trim and contemporary chrome dials on GSX models, which also have full leather seats, headrests and door trim inserts, and a new wood grain and leather-trimmed steering wheel.
Impian GLS models have a new design fabric interior plus a new dashboard and instrument panel.
For extra comfort, every Impian has air conditioning with pollen filter, electrically-adjustable mirrors, reverse distance sensors, electric front and rear windows and Clarion radio/ CD player.
The model is equipped with a 1.6-litre engine which is available in a choice of manual or automatic transmissions.
Equipment includes anti-lock brakes, side-impact protection, energy-absorbing bumpers and front fog lamps. Inside the Impian, fingertip controls for the radio/ CD player on the steering wheel provide added safety for the driver.
Safety equipment includes twin front airbags, seatbelts which are fitted with pre-tensioners and rear door childlocks.
