A LATE-NIGHT Jacobean Christmas shopping evening will be held in Chipping Norton tonight.
Shopkeepers will be dressed in Jacobean-style clothes and will be dispensing wine and sweetmeats.
Shops in the town will be open from 6pm to 9pm and there will be special treats and features in the individual shops.
There will also be there rides and roundabouts, carol singers and street stalls and a pig roast and roast chestnuts in the street.
The town's museum will be open, offering another chance to see they Charter display.
