FOUR youths charged with conspiracy to burgle after a pensioner was found dead in her Oxford home have entered not guilty pleas.
The teenagers denied the charges during a hearing at Oxford Magistrates Court yesterday.
They were charged after Freda Timms, 87, was found dead in her home in Edgeway Road, Marston, last Tuesday.
A 17-year-old and a 16-year-old from Lowestoft and a 17-year-old from Oxford were all remanded in custody.
Another 17-year-old was bailed, with the conditions he lives at an address in Abingdon, obeys a curfew, and does not contact his co-defendants or witnesses, reports to the Youth Offending Team three times a week and complies with the requirements of Oxfordshire County Council Supervision and Support Teams.
The case was adjourned for the four teenagers to appear before the court again on Tuesday, December 19.
