ONE of Wallingford's best-loved Christmas traditions, the lanternlight carol singing evening, takes place on Wednesday.
People congregate round the Christmas tree in Market Place with lighted lanterns to sign carols from 7pm.
The town-council sponsored event is led by the mayor, Nigel Moor.
