Forecasters are predicting flash floods and heavy rainfall across Oxfordshire today.
The Met Office said it expects half a centimetre of rain to fall in less than three hours from about 1pm.
It issued a severe alert for rain yesterday, and said residents must prepare for thunderstorms, frequent lightning, torrential rain and winds.
