A county train service is the fifth most overcrowded route in the UK.
The Banbury to Marylebone Chiltern route, passing through Bicester at 7.17am, had 256 more passengers than it should.
The figures released by the Department of Transport this week show last autumn the seven carriages which are meant to hold 476 people were actually taking 732.
Meanwhile, the 7.14am Didcot Parkway FGW service to Paddington has dropped off the list after cutting overcrowding.
