Staff at Oxford's Randolph Hotel will be helping to raise £80,000 for the Princess Royal Trust for Carers during the festive season.
The Randolph, which is part of Macdonald Hotels, will be joining forces with colleagues in hotels and resorts across the group in a bid to raise the cash.
Throughout the month, staff at the Randolph will be taking part in a range of activities as well as selling raffle tickets during its Christmas party nights.
The Princess Royal Trust for Carers has been the Macdonald Group's chosen charity for almost six years.
Michael Grange, the Randolph's general manager, said: "Throughout December we will be encouraging people to take part in a series of raffles at our popular party nights, giving people the chance to win dinner for two or a bottle of champagne."
Mr Grange said any donations from local businesses which could be added to the prize fund would be gratefully received.
