Sir – You do not need to paint the flats green, on Roger Dudman Way, or cover them in soil.
All the campaigners have to do, if they want to preserve the precious views that they claim have been lost, is to screen digital trompe l’oeil images on to the buildings and then they can have any view of the “dreaming spires" they wish.
