Sir – Christopher Gray harks at the loss of Italian restaurants for “robust” appetites quoting the only remaining restaurant as being in North Parade.
Perhaps he should stray across Magdalen Bridge to La Cucina in St Clements where very special Italian food for all appetites is provided by Alberto, a great Italian chef, from his open kitchen.
The atmosphere is great and served by a great, friendly team of staff. On the other hand, maybe it should remain for those in the know and Christopher Gray free.
