A MAN was killed when he was struck by a train travelling at 100mph through Didcot Parkway Station.
The driver of the 10.45am London Paddington to Swansea service on Saturday alerted police after his train struck the man on the track next to the platform.
Ian Butterfield, spokesman for British Transport Police, said the incident happened at about 11.44am.
He said that after speaking to the train driver, officers were satisfied there were no suspicious circumstances.
