A developer will argue its case for planning permission to turn a pub into flats at a hearing today.
Saxonville Ltd appealed to the Government after its proposals for the former Maroon pub, on the corner of Oxpens Road and St Thomas Street, were thrown out by Oxford City Council in February.
Members of the planning committee voted to refuse permission because the company wasn’t prepared to make a contribution towards social housing in the city.
A hearing into the appeal will be held at the Town Hall at 10am.
