The painting up for sale
A PAINTING featuring the Oxford-born wife of the artist William Morris is to go on sale.
Entitled Proserpine, Morris’s Pre-Raphaelite painting of Jane Morris Dante Gabriel Rossetti, right, will go under the hammer at Sotheby’s in London in November.
It is on the market for the first time and is expected to sell for up to £1.8m.
