AN Oxford man is due to be sentenced today after pleading guilty to letting five baby rabbits die.
Graham Dunn, of Church Hill Road, Cowley, will appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court charged with neglect.
An RSPCA officer who attended the scene said the dead animals resembled “empty furry pencil cases”.
Mr Dunn, 50, also pleaded guilty to the neglect of two guinea pigs, two adult rabbits, and a tabby cat.
The offences took place in October and November last year. RSPCA officers raided the flat following concerns from neighbours.
Mr Dunn claimed at a previous hearing that his life had spiralled out of control while working away as a contractor.
