  • Oliver King, 19, of Queens Road, Carterton, admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis, a class B drug, at Aston Road in Bampton on March 4.Given a community order requiring 240 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and told to pay costs of £85 and victims’ surcharge of £60.
  • Alexander Kinnaird, 34, from Holly Close, Bicester, admitted assault by beating a man in Fringford Road, Bicester, on May 24. Fined £450, told to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and a £45 victims’ surcharge.
  • Lukasz Kolos, 30, from Turner Close, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on Oxford Road, Adderbury, on June 16. Had 74 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £240, given a 17-month driving ban and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £24.

  • Richard O’Rourke, 40, of Station Caravan Park, Grimsbury near Banbury, admitted stealing a case of Guinness worth £13.99 from the Co-op supermarket in Buckingham Road, Bicester, on March 17. Committed to prison for four weeks, suspended for 12 months, ordered to pay compensation of £13.99 and a victims’ surcharge of £60.
  • Robert Glencross, 33, of Guernsey Way, Banbury, admitted possessing a kitchen knife in a public place and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Ferriston, Banbury, on April 27.   • Keith Booker, 33, of Nowell Road in Oxford, admitted stealing eight items of meat worth £29.75 from Sainsbury’s Local in Oxford and stealing one jar of instant coffee worth £4 from a Co-op in Oxford on May 11. Committed to prison for six weeks.
  • Joseph Brady, 19, from Sycamore Road in Botley, Oxford, admitted stealing the front and rear numberplates from a car in Dean Court, Oxford, on October 20. Also admitted making off without paying for £55 worth of petrol at Tesco in Eynsham on April 1 and making off without paying for £55 worth of petrol at Tesco in Eynsham on April 11. Given a community order with a 16-week curfew between 8pm and 8am. Also told to pay £277.67 compensation, costs of £85 and victims’ surcharge of £60.
  • Ian Bye, 37, of Croft Road, Marston, near Oxford, admitted stealing a bottle of alcohol from the Co-op in Old Marston Road, Marston, on July 2. Fined £50 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20.
  • Patrick Meredith, 45, of Dene Road, Headington, admitted stealing a pair of curtain ties, bed sheets, car mats and a rug worth £53.95 from B and M bargains in Cowley on April 17.Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay costs of £35 and a victims’ surcharge of £15.
  • Jason Edmunds, 18, of Mawle Court, Banbury, admitted possessing a weapon for the discharge of noxious gas or liquid, namely CS spray, at the Foyer in George Street, Banbury, on January 7.Given a community order with 40 hours of unpaid work and told to pay £40 costs and a £60 victims’ surcharge.
