A WOMAN was robbed of her handbag while cycling through Bury Knowle Park in Headington.
She was stopped at about 8pm on Thursday, July 4, by a man who started to talk to her.
He assaulted her and stole her handbag before running off towards Chestnut Avenue.
He was described as black, about 6ft and of medium build, wearing a navy blue hooded top with the hood up.
A white handbag with gold studs on it, a pair of white headphones, house keys and cash were taken.
Anyone who witnessed the robbery or has information is asked to call police on 101.
