A FREE 'living well' course in Witney is being offered to people with long-term medical conditions.
The Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust is offering people living with conditions such as arthritis, MS, diabetes, ME, heart disease, Parkinson's disease, asthma or back pain the chance to take part in a six week long course.
The course aims to help people learn new skills, gain confidence and knowledge to help them manage and live with their condition.
It will be run by people who have personal experience of living with a long-term condition, people who really understand the day-to day problems and how to meet the challenges.
The courses run once a week for six weeks, each session lasting about two hours.
There will be a course running in Witney starting in January 2007, for further information or to find out about registering on the course contact: Hayley Reynolds at Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust on 0800 052 3225 or 01491 208616 or e-mail hayley.reynolds@oxfordshirepct.nhs.uk.
