I was surprised that the split on the North Hinksey Bypass is still wide open and the road is still closed (June 13) as, after a year, the county council still has no clue how to solve this.
The county council should approach the Japanese.
Two years ago, during the earthquake, they had the same problem with a road split down the middle, partially slipped into a ravine. Just how intelligent they are! Inside two weeks the road was repaired with traffic flowing again. It’ll be 2014 before our lot have a solution at least.
I say send for the Japanese and their smart technology. The only thing the county council is good at is taking our money and wasting it.
