ARMED robbers threatened teenagers with knives and a hammer in a “frightening” raid on a village home.

Six victims, aged between 14 and 17, were robbed of mobile phones and cash in the incident in Cholsey on Tuesday evening.

Three men forced their way into the house in Rothwells Close at about 11.30pm.

Police are now appealing for the witnesses after the aggravated burglary.

Investigating officer Dc Arran Cliff said police believed the attackers left in a blue vehicle.

He said: “This was a frightening ordeal for the victims but they were not harmed during the incident.”
