More passengers on Chiltern Railways are happier with their trains’ punctuality than either of the county’s two other rail operators, according to a new survey.
Pressure group Passenger Focus has published its ‘rail passenger survey’, which shows what users of First Great Western, Chiltern Railways and CrossCountry are most and least satisfied with.
When it came to punctuality, Chiltern Railways performed best with 89 per cent of users satisfied. Eighty per cent of CrossCountry passengers were happy with trains arriving on time, but First Great Western performed most poorly, with only 76 per cent satisfied.
