A 27-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed in the shoulder during an argument in Headington yesterday.

Police believe a knife was used in the attack at about 1am at the junction of London Road and Gladstone Road.

The victim was treated at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital after suffering a single stab wound.

Police said the injury was not thought to be life-threatening.

Det Insp Steve Raffield appealed for any witnesses to come forward.

He said: “We are trying to establish what happened in this incident, so would like to speak to anyone who was in the Barton Road, Gladstone Road and London Road around the time of the incident.”
