THE former chief of counter fraud at Oxfam appeared at court on Tuesday accused of defrauding the charity out of more than £60,000.
Edward McKenzie-Green, 33, pictured, is said to have taken £62,857.58 while working at the aid organisation’s Cowley office between February and December 2011.
He is also accused of stealing a laptop from Oxfam.
He appeared at City of London Magistrates alongside his father Edward Green, 61, who is accused of laundering £35,571.75 of the proceeds of the fraud.
The case was committed to the Old Bailey on July 25 this year.
McKenzie-Green, of The Leys, Chipping Norton, is charged with fraud by abuse of position and theft by employee.
Green, who lives in Glasgow, is charged with concealing criminal property between February 1 and December 1, 2011.
Both are on unconditional bail.
