I WISH to complain about the large increases in rent on the shops in the Covered Market, Oxford.
If they charge the extra 50 per cent in rent, many businesses will have to close.
It is a case of killing the goose that lays the golden egg.
If they increase the rent, the businesses will not be able to pay and the council will not be able to get the money anyway.
The Covered Market is a very good tourist attraction, so I hope the council sees sense.
