MASKED robbers punched and kicked a worker before tying him up and demanding cash.
The attempted robbery happened at a business property in Heyford Park in Upper Heyford on Monday.
Three men approached the man outside the firm before assaulting him and getting in to the building. They then tied him up and asked for money.
They then searched the building but left empty handed in a white Ford van, police said.
The victim suffered cuts and bruises to his head and a cut lip but did not go to hospital.
Det Insp Andy Thompson, from North Oxon Force CID, said: “This was an offence which left the member of staff very shaken.
“I urge anyone with information on this incident, or anyone who saw the van in the area at the time, to get in touch immediately.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org
