SINCE its launch in September, the Oxfordshire Reading Campaign has captured the imagination of everyone from the seven-year-old children taking part to award-winning authors.
The Oxford Mail has been on board from the beginning, and it is great to see education’s most senior political figure, Education Secretary Michael Gove, express his backing for the scheme.
We hope that Mr Gove’s interest in the scheme indicates the programme could be rolled out elsewhere to help even more children.
