IT simply is not good enough for detectives to have missed the voice recorder which taped the murder of Janee Parsons.
This was a horrific killing and the house Mrs Parsons shared with her husband Andrew should have been searched with a fine tooth comb.
In the end the recording device was almost certainly crucial in securing a conviction. It is appalling to contemplate a murderer could have walked free due to this oversight.
