A LORRY carrying wood has spilled its load across the A34 northbound just before the Pear Tree interchange.
Traffic is delayed northbound but the lanes are not completely blocked.
Police are clearing the road of the wood after being called to the scene at 2.12pm.
The wood is thought to be cupboard doors and fencing.
Police spokesman Rhianne Pope said: “The wood is across all lanes northbound and although traffic is still getting by there is a lot of queuing.
“Police are working to clear the scene.”
