A VARIETY of different sculptures have gone on show at a garden centre as part of an exhibition by the Oxford Sculptors Group.
The display of about 30 sculptures is open to visitors at Newington Nurseries, near Stadhampton, until the end of August.
Group member Martin Lorenz is one of the artists displaying his work.
The 81-year-old, pictured admiring the sculpture Who Dares Wins by fellow member Marie Boyles, said: “I think sculpture in a gallery can be soulless or artificial, but seeing it outdoors is where a potential purchaser may want it located themselves.
Mr Lorenz, from Wargrave, near Reading, added: “This is an opportunity to show people what you can do with sculpture and how nice it is.
“And it doesn’t cost anything to get in.”
The sculptures on show are available to buy.
