Dominic Brown, 39, of Blay Close, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted common assault in Leon Close, Oxford, on December 9. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made on August 17 for theft. Community order made with a six-month drug rehab-ilitation requirement. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £200 costs.

David Beattie, 26, of Overdale Close, Barton, convicted of fishing without a licence and refusing to give his details to a water bailiff at Milton Pools, Milton Common, on September 1. Fined £100 with £15 victims’ surcharge and £127 costs.

Damion Fitzgibbon, 42, of The Crescent, Sandford, admitted drink- driving in Oxford on May 5. Had 68 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Banned from driving for 18 months, fined £110 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £60 costs.

Craig Ford, 28, of no fixed address, admitted stealing meat worth £30 from the Co-op in Marston, Oxford, on April 17. Fined £50 and told to pay £30 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Kevin Bailey, 26, of Sinodun View, Warborough, Wallingford, admitted assault by beating in Blue Mountains, Wallingford, on February 26. Community order made with a two-month curfew requirement and a supervision requirement. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Stephen Hudson, 42, of The Hyde, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving on May 3 in Ladygrove Paddock, Abingdon. Had 81 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Banned from driving for 20 months and fined £385 with £39 victims’ surcharge and 385 costs.

Anthony Kalyan, 40, of Bartlemas Road, Cowley, Oxford, admitted drink- driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance in Garsington Road, Cowley, on May 6. Had 45 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Banned from driving for 12 months and fined £300 with £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
