What is going on at the Brize Norton sewage pumping station at the bottom of Station Road?

Once again we have temporary lights reducing traffic to a single lane while up to six giant tankers are in attendance day and night.

Station Road, already far too busy as a result of being used each day as a rat-run for southbound traffic from Carterton, is simply too narrow to handle the constant flow of vehicles of this size.

Residents of Brize Norton already attribute the frequent flooding problems in Station Road to over-development in Carterton. Is this the reason for the current sewage problems?

We, therefore, welcome the Strategic Housing Market Assessment and hope it will mean that existing problems, such as flooding and sewage, can be properly addressed and solved before embarking on further vast housing developments.
