Two of three housing schemes spearheaded by Grand Designs presenter Kevin McCloud have been approved tonight.
Councillors voted in favour of plans to build 21 flats at Westlands Drive, Northway at the Oxford City Council east area planning committee meeting this evening.
Councillors also approved plans for 47 houses in Maltfield Road, Northway.
But a third scheme, the most criticised by residents, was rejected.
At the end of a four hour meeting tonight, plans for 40 flats on the former Colwey Community Centre site Barns Road in Cowley were refused.
