ALEX Phillips, 10, was among visitors to an eye-catching event at Oxford’s Museum of the History of Science.

Alex got to see creations by visiting artist Stephanie Douet, who helped visitors make objects of optical illusion.

Museum spokeswoman Laura Ashby said: “It’s been wonderful having Stephanie Douet at the museum over the last three weeks.

“She has been sketching and sculpting in the galleries, drawing inspiration from our objects to make her fascinating glass, wood and paper constructions.

“Her workshops have inspired many children, and museum visitors have been fascinated to see her working in the galleries.”
