Challenge: Hundreds of walkers will compete in the annual Tour de Trigs
HUNDREDS of walkers from across the country will descend on Banbury today to take part in a gruelling 50km night trek.
The 39th annual Tour de Trigs Walking Competition gets under way this evening from Blessed George Napier School in Banbury.
The 50km route is only revealed 30 minutes before the start of the trek and walkers will have to navigate muddy fields in the middle of the night.
Entrants must complete the journey, which finishes at Blessed George Napier School, within 24 hours.
