HUNDREDS turned out for the annual Fun in the Park event in Abbey Grounds, Abingdon.
Saturday’s Abingdon Town Council event included go-karts, a climbing wall, play bus and mobile soft play centre.
Young and old also had a chance to learn circus skills, to play the drums and watch performances by local groups.
These included children from Cando Martial Arts, cheerleaders from Elite Cheer United and The O’Gara School of Irish Dance.
And anyone who wanted to cool off could have a dip in the heated outdoor pool.
Three-year-old Mila Pantic, from Allder Close in Abingdon, who won the tug-of-war, said: “It was fun.”
Mum Natalie said it was the first time the family had gone to the free day.
She said: “Mila really enjoyed it. I have an 18-month-old son Novak and found it was perfect for their age group. There were lots of activities and it was brilliant it was all free.
“It was perfect, especially with the weather.”
